We’re throwing ourselves a little party on Saturday December 6th and YOU are invited!
To celebrate the launch of A Box of Pleasures, an e-book only box-set of all four Pleasures titles (The Pleasures of Winter, The Pleasures of Spring, The Pleasures of Summer, The Pleasures of Autumn) we are throwing a blog splash on Saturday December 6th 2014.
The idea is that you ask Evie a question and post the answer either to your blog, to your Facebook page or on your Twitter account – or indeed anywhere online – on Saturday December 6th.
You can ask Evie anything about anything – writing, romance, rude stuff (!) – and in return, you’ll receive a pleasure: a digital copy of The Pleasures of Winter. (If you’ve read it already, you can nominate a friend to receive it instead.) All participants will be entered into a draw to win a prize: two full sets of the Pleasures books, personally inscribed by Evie, one for you to keep and one for you to surprise someone with this Christmas.
To enter simply tweet using the hashtag #pleasuresunboxed or leave a comment on this post and we’ll be in touch!
And the winner of the Play a Part in Pleasures competition is Ariana Eirini.
We caught up with Ariana to tell her the good news.
Oh my goodness! Yay!!
So, tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Ariana Eirini, I’m 24 years old and I currently live in West Virginia. I’m an elementary school teacher who truly loves the profession and the idea of educating the future leaders of America. I have a Yorkshire Terrier whose name is Bentley and we absolutely LOVE laying around and reading!
How did you first encounter Evie Hunter?
Move over whiteboards and post it notes, Pinterest is here! As a writer who works at the dining room table, I don’t have the luxury of somewhere to put my ever growing pile of magazine clippings, photos of hot guys or images of places that inspire me.
Check out Evie Hunters boards on Pinterest
I recently discovered Pinterest and it has quickly become a passion. Now, it takes me minutes to find a beach house, the sexiest shoe for my heroine or even the handsome hero for our latest work in progress. Like Facebook for images, Pinterest allows you to save pictures and post them on ‘boards’ like a virtual scrapbook. You can share it with your friends and follow other users’ boards. Given the wide variety of images available, it’s not surprising that most of its users are female. Continue reading
